I have a Customers Evo 5 with a Evo 9 80 series on and a set of HKS 272's running at 1.8 bar and he tracks the life out of it.I'd say no cos I didn't think a standard 5 engine would take much more than around 360bhp before it throws a rod out ???
for the effort of fitting the cams I'd say no.
There could be benefits from just fitting adjustable pulleys to your standard cams.

So you would fit pulley's on stock cams and not fit MR cams it would take 30 mins to swap the cams over if you had the belts off anyway to replace the pulleys.

I know your shifting the power up the band a bit which will help, but still ~400+ on the stock engine...
I take it you dont give warranties after a remap :razz:JK
Shocked at what standard cars have engine faliures and find me a tuner that does give a warranty with a remap.
