Yes selling off the utility companies and council houses may not of been her best ideas but what she did against the trade unions was spot on! This country was in a bloody mess due to those gready lazy scum bags! Do you think if she was in power today she would let the EU tell her what's not and what's what!! And do you think she would let some Muslim preacher preach his vile filth in this country and get away with it!!! I think not! She got this country back up and running and back on the map!

I'm disagreeing too, I'm with James on this. She was ruthless yes but in a good way, dead industry she got rid of it cost more to mine than we made from it. Sellin council houses yes bad. Like already said she wouldn't let eu tell her she can't deport a extremist.

Sad loss and such a shame a lot of people think ill of a woman with one thing in mind..... England

Just sending our troops thousands of miles to defend the Falklands is epic. I'm not entirely convinced Cameron etc would......

I have faith in Cameron, he doesn't come across as the sort to take us to war but I think if the time come he would be a hell of a lot more capable than that sodding miliband, who will as soon as he is in power start givin money to the lazy people again. There are some stark chanes happening at the mo and I am in favour of all. If you have a room in a government paid home that's not being used, pay for it! Or let the gov move you somewhere more suitable. You have a disability that has got better over time.... Well you don't need all that money and benefits now do you. Do you really need sky tv or that bottle of vodka? Get a job gggrrrrrrrrrrr

Job seekers allowance is there to help look for a job not laugh at those that have jobs. Thatcher would have it sorted!!

Mario id say thats spot on love her or hate her she certainly new how to run the country,she stood for no crap, the thing is yes she tangled with trade unions etc but look back at the time industry was consantly on strikes! How can the country run if its always striking you cant run a buisness like that etc, this is a small part of what she did always remembered the one thing she did do was make sure our country was armed and dangerous and ready to show how great we was now were just imigrant britain
