Hello gary...billy said your the main man on evos ha ha basically im changing my transfer box and putting a clutch in, while im doin it im gonna change all the fluids... the car is an evo 8 gsr, what i want to know is what needs bleeding and what doesnt?? Iv heard bits and bobs about bleeding this bleeding that, but you dont know who to believe, Im going to be doing gearbox, transfer box, rear diff and ayc... any help would be appriciated

I have an evo4 GSR with 170,000kms and I was using Castrol Edge 10w 40 fully synthetic but when I made my last oil change it was dropping some oil until it got a bit filthy :/ Can this be because of my engine kms? I planning to make a new oil change these days and I was planning to try same Castrol Edge but 5w 50 What do you think? Is is a good idea? My car is pretty much stock as I bought it (no upgraded fuel pump, no boost controller) but it can easily run 1.3bar...

Another thing when I floor it and the revs go past 6000 there is a slight cut out in power then back on , change gear and the same thing , 5500 to 6000 revs it drops only for half a second and then full power again , is this normal ?

Hi all ! Just purchased my first Evo 6 gsr ,lovely car ! Just wanting to know if there is anything I should keep an eye on or any common problems with these cars I should look out for , as you are all aware you talk to different people they slag the car- what you buying one of them for etc etc but you buy what you obviously like and I am very pleased with my purchase any information will be much appreciated .cheers ant
