You and your Evo - 2011

Hi All,

Thought id start a thread just out of pure curiosity really :thinking:.

I've had my Evo now for 5 months and i got loads of ideas and bits and bobs that i want to do to the car. So im gonna set out what i'd like to do for the coming year and then see where i am come the same time next year...:razz:

Well thats the theory anyway:whistling:

So, by the end of 2011 i'd like to have Done / Changed / Modded the following:

New Wheels and Tyres.
Replace Intercooler and add Hard Pipe kit. "currently working on this"
New Induction Kit.
Clean up and add detailing to the Engine Bay.
Some sort of ICE - (Nothing too Extreme)
Full Re-spray - Have a few little Niggles and Marks that also need removing.
Pillar Gauges that actually Work!!!!!
Conversion from KPH to MPH
New Discs & Pads all round

Just a few bits and bobs, there is other stuff but cant think of them all at the mo...

Just curious as to other Guys / Girls thoughts and plans for their Evo's.

Mesh stone chips repaired and painted
same with window wiper arms

boost controler
and a front end re-spray
couple oh shinys under the bonnet and samco kit

and if things work out well get my car sent down to el and his team for a engine change to a 6 and forged and couple oh other things that ill keep to myself for now:razz:

polished intercooler hard pipes(in process now)

wheels powder coated orange

carbon side skirt extensions

toying with idea of spraying wind deflectors white

evo 9 turbo,hks 272 cams,adjustable pulley wheels

walbro fuel pump if i need 1 still havnt checked

vortex generator

maybe change front bumper to a damd one

fit private plate(already purchased)

black door handles

fit boost controller

and maybe im not sure yet evo 6 spoiler and made to look like a 6 as i have private plate now

Quality brakes mate. I bought some from Ant@indigo for my 7, although I didn't upgrade the pads like I should of.. So def get some xp8s with them. Also 8pots on the front are the better option

This is truly "Awesome".. i see other members have got some wicked Mods / Alterations / Fine Tuning ideas in mind that i cant wait to see the cars in the Before / during / and after stages.... A great response, am well chuffed

There were some Koi :ninja: remarks, but i expected that... "sometimes it is better to keep secrets and keep others in anticipation.. All the more better when they are revealed

Keep these updates coming guys, there are so many more who have viewed and not posted.... "are you shy:wub:" I'll show you mine if you show me yours....lol:whistling:

Manley Rods
K1 crank
Kelford 272 cams
Vernier pulleys
Cosworth belts
Remove balance shaft
Hopefully by November next year I will have the fully forged engine in and mapped

Oh and get me strips put back on after some recent paint but that will all be this year.

My plans for 2011 are a bit more dull.......

I will be putting it up for sale then trying to get on the property ladder with the missus......

Failing that...i.e, if she ditches me lol

I will be going for a norris designs or FQ performance rod job I think. A FP Black turbo, AMS (or Similar) intercooler and other supporting mods. Full respray and possibly some new wheels Then track the hell out of it.....until it dies
