wrc tarmacs .. 8inch version question

I know the 7 and 7.5 wrc tarmacs fit evo 4 s without any issues, but I've been offered a set of 8ijch wrc tarmacs in et35 .. looks like evo 789 fitment. Has any one fitted em to a 4 without extensive arch work? I've seen em on tarmac evo 4s but not sure if they where even wider.

No is the answer. You could but you'd still have to use the original 215 tyres and still have to roll the arches.
All this depends on your cars ride height

I don't know what the offset is on the standard e8 enkeis but I run them on my 4 with 235/40 tyres, rolled arches and standard ride height and they don't rub. As lee says it will depend on your height, and if you just like the style of wheel you should be ok with slightly narrower tyres with a slight stretch.

Have 215/45/17 on e5 wheels ,tyres are RS-Rs which are meatier anyway. I'll try it and see wot happens. Arches are trimmed back to the spot welds, might roll em afterall.
Car is 30mm lowered.
