if you track the cr then yes, best thing i did change from my 9 to the 6, you can feel the weight saving when pushing on corners, devolution rules

its all personal but i far prefer the early versions for handling and new for road, cheaper to maintain as well rear diffs, transfer boxes etc

I much prefer my 6 RS compared to my previous 8 MR. much more enjoyable driving experience and better looks too

Through my own experience it's a no.
I ha a vii and fancied a change and got myself the mak after a year I was missing my vii and now after another 2 years I've decided to go back too a vii again.

If you like your creature comforts then stick too the VIII.

So much more road noise and wind notice and to be honest a little dated inside and the headlights are rubbish in the dark

TBH mate as much as the VIII is a nice car,if you read as many reviews as you can the VI always comes out as the best all round EVO to own.
I spent 18 Months looking for a EVO and I ended up choosing a VI. To me it feels everything an EVO should be and more. Yes I do fancy a IX GT but I think in my heart of hearts I would really miss my VI and these guys on here will tell you I don't really drive my EVO enough to justify getting rid! At the end of the day you can only make the decision. Take as many cars out as possible!

Only you can decide what is best for you mate....I have owned an VIII and a V and Ive got to say I much prefer my V...and thats the car I still own now....
