welcome to the site... depends what your using the car for.. if your driving it around town etc, don't go too much over 500bhp as it wont be that good for a daily driver.. i myself have just bought a new evo 7 with a fresh 2.3 stroker engine that im still running in, which is now capable of over 700bhp. but to get it to that power id need a huge turbo, triple plate clutch, new stronger diffs as well as a dog box gear box. as mine is my daily driver, im taking it to 500/550, which will be more than enough for our roads, and will be excellent on the track too

Best have deep pockets if you want that power.. youll be wanting a fully forged block along with absolutley everything uprated including your ECU.

If you havent got stage one mods yet get them done first and enjoy then enjoy the rest in stages ;)

Rod job goes without saying over 400bhp youll be looking at fully forged, but then you have to ask yourself with it all out is it worth getting it strokered :D

You will need to Fully Forged Engine( 2ltr or Stroker),and uprate the turbo GT3076r should get you too 500/550 Flywheel HP + Standalong ECU + Twin Plate Clutch + I/c Inlets and Exh manifolds + Fueling, and after that you WILL need Brakes and Suspension set ups

Above and....

GT 35,TO4Z,HTA35 will get you well over the 600 Flywheel hp

All of the above done by a reputable tuner will set you back say 15/20 K

Edited to add....This is based on a proper engine build (not a drop in forged pistons and rods)
