Worst bunch of piss takers I've met....

Put a genuine add or question..and they ripp the piss...why??? we are all in the same game..interest...

the mlr has a few good members like most forums but yh ur right they quickly go off subject and topic, take the piss and flex their knowlege or lack of. there are also some stuck up people on there. i never signed up and wasted my money mainly cos i wouldnt take advantage of the benefits but also cos i cant bear spending too long on there. i made a post about self mapping and was there anyone in my area who could do it and i got torn apart for not wanting to take my car to a dealer. i had already signed up on here so i stayed here.

this place is where im staying im not spending nothing on mlr

I'm on there but haven't paid up. Can see the benefits of paying but tbh think its a bit much for what you get.

Annoys me that they put so many restrictions on non paid members and run it like a mass business empire rather than a comunity for enthusiasts.

thats why its not fun because its a bussiness. its also not moderated it managed which is a shame as its got so much potential to be a great place.

over there if you not running 400 plus they dont wanna know. over here most people work on their own cars (even foxy sprays her wheels 0 over there the masses are just cheque books

I think £35 is expensive for most peple to join a forum as well, its ok if u take advantage of the going on the track days and use the forum discounts etc...
Takes the piss u are restircted how many post u can have and not able to send PMs unless ur a paid member IMO.... Not sure if i will re-join this year, only reason i would is for access to the for sale area...

Guys I totally disagree I've been a full member for years and I think the membership fee is more than fair for what you get for your money. You get 4 magazines a year, discount with all traders to which just 1 service will get you your money back, discounted pace ward insurance on a massive scale (I saved £77 pounds this time),you get discounted sprint tickets and get to drive on some of the best circuts in the world, you also get a starter pack with a few goodies enclosed and finally you get access to the full site of Mlr.

Please let's not turn this thread into a slanging match towards the Mlr we are better than this guys.

Completely agree. The paid benefits suit a lot I people, just don't feel I want to pay right now because I'm not really going to gain that much from paid membership.

And you're right, cross forum slagging isn't good. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions but maybe this thread should be locked.

And with having found out what it's like first hand, how hard, stressful and at most, time consuming just to get a group of people to an event let alone all the other benefits you get from being a member is worth the £35 in itself

I stand by my statement like I say many decent members over there but my personal experience keeps me away from there and like I say wouldn't take advantage of the benefits. All I need is here.

A slanging match is needed ur right geof and u have worked hard for your reputation over there same as you lee, I find it's not as warm and welcoming though and like I say it's managed.
