Well as the car is in bits I thought I'd make a few cosmetic changes and there is more to come

Hardpipes were silver ali and manky. Tial dumpvalve was purple

parts be here tuesday so fingers crossed jamie will be sorting out the bottom end thursday.

no its not, good job i checked before i bolted it back onto my fresh engine build.

new one is another 200 on top and mine will come back as new anyway.

i looked for altrenatives but i have a custom manifold and downpipe so if i changed turbo then i would need to change that too :arms::hm:

good job you checked it then as for the turbo no point in changing everything if it can be fixed and looks and runs as good as new then

yea thats it. shame the wallet has had to take a pounding, thats more than doubled the cost to get the engine done :shock::arms:

I bet it did :shock: it's all worth it though in the end high performance means high costs as well, but you will get out of it what you put into it, take the rough with the smooth

High performance cars means high performance prices. Shame I'm spending all this money but won't make it any faster though

it's going to be getting sorted tuesday with a bit of luck :razz: then i have to get a new driveshaft at the end of the month cos my cv joint is going :sad: but i'm getting some new pipes put in at the same time so all good
