I reckon around 3 hrs. Car in the air with all 4 wheels off and yea I did leave them on the car.

I remove them last time but to be honest for not alot of gain cos you can't see the back of them at any time anyway unless under the car and it's alot easier to paint them when they are rigid and not hanging from a bit of string.

I used halfords gloss black engine laquer and carb cleaner to make sure they were clean and a heat gun to speed things up a little

well after a trip over to indigo-gt for a little health check and a few tweaks to the map (pops and bangs ) i came away with some new 3mm lash adjusters so in they went today

well i managed to borrow a mates ramp today so i attacked the underside of my car with a drill with wire brush in it and after a couple hours and a whole lot of dirt in my eyes, hair, teeth, ears etc i was ****ered in shit lol
so a blow off with the airline and i was ready to stoneguard the car and theis is the end result

It's not so much a pain in the ass just a nasty dirty job but so much better once it's done and will last for some time

Well today the postman brought my new prosport gauge from Rspec performance. It's a 45mm stepper motor water tempature gauge

I wanted a more or less factory finish and to have the gauge where it can been seen when needed but not intrucive as im not a fan of gauge pods
I had a bit of dash from my mates old Evo iV so I used that to cut a bit of plastic from and cut it to size to fit snug in the cubby hole then cut the gauge into it with the supplied bracket on the back to hold it in place.

I also instead of using the supplied sensor holder which ment cutting a section out and chopping it into the top hose which I also don't like so i decided it would be a better tidyier job if I fitted the sensor into the thermostate housing so that's what I done.

Yea quite a bit of messing around but I'm happier with the end result
