Gaz we are all good mate. You'll a thread on here called "and so it begins" there you will find out what's going in with the other Evo :)

I've got no plans to compete at combe but I will probably pop up anyway as its not far from me.
I'm at silverstone on track tomorrow then next week I'm giving charity rides round Combe at the action day :)

I don't go online much but have been on Mlr lately cause of sprints and the odd wind up lol
My mrs has just got a new car so using her tiny Getz to get around in so I can save but not decided what to get yet. My little girl has had a op on her eye and is having another op on the 18th, they have up'd her med for the arthritis and now has a wheelchair for when she is having a bad day.
Went to Mira at the weekend for the sprint and that was a quick track, lawsy m3 spun and hit the tyres hope he can fix it, and a Scooby caught on fire cause a fuel line split but was lucky not to have a lot of damage.

No but all I heard was a pop then turn round to see a small fire suddenly become a big fire but everyone reacted quick and put it out, a few vac pipes and some wiring damage that's all.
Yeah Alisha has gone through a lot and this next op is just another step to save her eye.

Well its been a while but that doesn't mean I haven't been tinkering :)

Since the last update just general servicing and I did have the gearbox and transfer box out and inspected by local transmission specialist. Was a quick turnaround as I was away 1 weekend while the box etc was out then had to get it all back in during the week after work ready for the weekend to go to silverstone.

Good show and had 9 full laps of silverstone full gp circuit :)

Then helped out with charity fun passenger rides round castle Combe which was a great day

Then mid November I pack the car up onto trailer and went off up to oulton park. What a circuit !!!! Everyone must do oulton park before they die :):)

Now winter has arrived its time for some fresh protection.

Time taken, 2 days

Products used
Tetra shautz and some kurust, why cos some of the underseal was gone so bare metal and tuned ginger in colour. No flaky or bubbly stuff just a ginger floorpan so best to stop it in its tracks and some proper protection :)

Tool for the job

A few before shots and I'm pleased to report, no nasty holes anywhere :)

Nice chassis rail :)

End of day one and think I'm in need of a clean up myself lol

Day 2 time to get spraying and then the arch liners to refit and rear shocks :)

It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it :)

Thing is with doing that job I you gave the job to someone else to do not only will it cost a absolute fortune but also how do you know then done it right. Slapping some sealer on looks pretty for a short time but if that's all they did then how do you know they haven't done it properly.

I've only done my boot so far

That tetra Schultz is hard to get off face

Thinners and then straight onto hand cleaner to get the thinners off before it dries. Wouldn't recommend using it on your face though :)
