thank you. glad im not alone lol. ive always used dyno dynamics so i was confused aswell. the way i look at it the correction figure is the one i should be looking at. if you add the drag figure to the wheel power this equates to engine power. would drag be the load that the wheels push against to calculate power.

Yeh, kinda. What the dyno does is measure the wind down through the transmission, the quicker it stops, the more resistance = tranmission loss. I mean that the basic mechanics behind it, there's more to it! But i always go on wheel power now. Though, flywheel power still puts a smile on your face lol

so if engine power is 535 atf what is the true wheel power. ive seen a calculation somewhere.

its a 2.3 stroker, full race gtx3071 r turbo kit, vipec ecu (mafless),kelford 272's. walbro fuel pump + bosch 044 inline pump.
4 inch turbo inlet
3 inch japspeed exhaust

Now i'm totally confused.... Your flywheel power would be around right then, i wonder why your wheel horsepower is low?

have to agree with this . my car made 332.6whp and 417fwp :O)

cheers mate. im pretty sure the flywheel reading is correct. the torque reading was 491 ftlb. simon from norris designs did the mappimg and he said it felt low 500's.
