Really starting to get the itch to get back into the Evo, been off the road since the end of Jan for some TLC...
Bootlid with the dreaded rust spot under the rear wing should be back Friday Afternoon after repair and paint,
door handles should be back Monday after paint (gloss black),
Badge for front bumper and badge and lettering for bootlid should arrive next week from a guy suggested by Nick(cheers!),
2 Tyres on order arrive Monday,
Oils and filters turn up tomorrow morning.
Need to book in for window tints once painted parts refitted.
Wheels should be painted and ready to fit by the week after next (fingers crossed)
Turbo timer still to be fitted
Geekmapping to take place once taxed (cheers Rob)
Extremely anal polish and waxing procedure to take place prior to driving!
And to add to it all i found out today there are 2 recalls that have not been taken care of, so it needs to go to Mitsubishi for a new o2 sensor (may try and get the fitter to sneak in a cheeky upgraded elbow at the same time for a little backhander) and an adjustment/replacement of the top hardpipe due to problems with them rubbing on fan cowling and cracking (already replaced myself but may end up with a brand new shiny one from mitsubishi
)
So....almost there, should all kinda fall together quite quickly, dying to get back into it and blast down some lanes!
