Really starting to get the itch to get back into the Evo, been off the road since the end of Jan for some TLC...

Bootlid with the dreaded rust spot under the rear wing should be back Friday Afternoon after repair and paint,
door handles should be back Monday after paint (gloss black),
Badge for front bumper and badge and lettering for bootlid should arrive next week from a guy suggested by Nick(cheers!),
2 Tyres on order arrive Monday,
Oils and filters turn up tomorrow morning.
Need to book in for window tints once painted parts refitted.
Wheels should be painted and ready to fit by the week after next (fingers crossed)
Turbo timer still to be fitted
Geekmapping to take place once taxed (cheers Rob)
Extremely anal polish and waxing procedure to take place prior to driving!

And to add to it all i found out today there are 2 recalls that have not been taken care of, so it needs to go to Mitsubishi for a new o2 sensor (may try and get the fitter to sneak in a cheeky upgraded elbow at the same time for a little backhander) and an adjustment/replacement of the top hardpipe due to problems with them rubbing on fan cowling and cracking (already replaced myself but may end up with a brand new shiny one from mitsubishi :D)
So....almost there, should all kinda fall together quite quickly, dying to get back into it and blast down some lanes!

It will be worth the wait mate getting all that done, pretty much the same stuff I want done on mine when we get some decent weather, will calls mitz about that recall too cheers for letting me know I may try my luck with the rear spoiler too as the laquer has peeled off the cf. With a bit of luck I will have my leak sorted in the next couple if days (cheers rob and Chris) and the replacement solenoid will hopefully fix my problem boosting.

Will be interested in seeing yours all completed.

Had mine off the road a few years back for a good few months, in the end I just stopped caring, didn't miss it or anything to be honest.

Eventually got it back on the road and I was smiling again :)
