Winter tyre is it worth it

Is it worth buying winter tyre . I currently have eagle f1. What the Evo like on the snow with normal tyre.

Anything is rubbish on normal road tyres, depends how much snow you have really but if i was using the evo through the winter i would be putting crap wheels and a bit chunkier tyres on.
