Window tints

Have been toying with this for a while, my car needs them to be honest and I've decided to do it myself too, just ordered the kit been watching some vids and seems straight forward enough just a case I take your time

Haha lol Na I will have a go at all of them, I watched a how to and because of the curve in the rear window it's easier to tint it in strips so I'll have a go at that, I have 6 meters of tint on the way

That's not the flagsquad spirit, top tints quoted nearly 200 quid and I have got the same stuff they use and the tools for 14 quid, take my time and jobs a gooden

Doing the rear in strips will look rubbish Craig as you always see the joins.

Lay it out on the outside of the rear screen to cut it to shape then get on in there !

The strips idea is for some cars as the screens as some are really curved but I not looked at the rear window too

Like to see the results of this, back and rears have been done on my car.. From a previous attempt I had on my mates car years ago dont put too much water on

From what I remember from years ago when I attempted to tint the windows on a Megane Coupe It wasn't the curve of the window that gave me problems but the heater strips. I think using some heat on the film helps it stretch over the raised strips so it doesn't bubble is the way to go.

Not something I would attempt these days as I dont have the patience. Will keep an eye out on your progress if you do give it a go and good luck

Yea tints do look better I did so on my old orion until my idiot mate but the window down & ripped part of it off :wtf::wtf:

Well il wait for it to turn up and have a go looks like the back window would be the issue, if the rear fails I'll have it done pro, but the other windows should be ok patience needed
