window problem

hi guys after abit of advice can anybody help. my drivers side window is stuck down i av got the door panel of and the cable is frayd, is it a easy cabel change for the local garage or do i nead to try find a new motor n cabel thanks

can't you solder a piece back in?

Attempt to solder it together or cut and repair the break with new cable. Just make sure it doesn't earth out on the door itself.
Only need replace the motor if its actually gone not because its just a wire connection.

you can as far as i know get repair kits,, but this also happened to me little over a month ago so rather than try a repair i managed to get a second hand window motor and regulator 2gether for a decent price,, ask if one of the traders can source u one???

When you say cable, you are referring to to the Tiger Tail right???

If so, then you will better off replacing the regulator.
