Will they rub? (18x8 ET30)

Been looking at changing my wheels to Pro-Race 1.2's. After an hour or so of reading loads of threads on different forums I'm none the wiser as to if they will foul the arches and rub. Some say they don't and other say they do.

I'll be getting 18x8 ET30 with 235/40 tyres. Is anyone running this setup on a lowered evo 9 and can share their experience with if they rub or not?

Nope they are the perfect size! got those on my VI but with 225/40/18

you can run 18x9 et30 on a 7/8/9

original evo 9 wheels are 17x8 et 38 so will basically just sit out 8mm further away from the hub

18x9 had crossed my mind but haven't really looked at prices for the size difference. What tyre size would you go with on them stick with 235/40 or go a bit bigger?

235 / 40 / 18 Goodyear Eagle F1 A2's

255/35/18 no problem but does depend on what wheel design you choose.
brembo callipers are really bulky and there for present clearance issues with some wheels
