Looks like a joke to me.

+100 transmission loss on a 300bhp car WTF lol.

Sorry I am no expert on Dynapack but I am 99% sure the yellow numbers are the "corrected numbers" and therefore 299.6bhp is the number it should be at the flywheel not 399.6

Also the ft/lb is crazy 1100 or 1400ftlb if you had that much torque you wouldn't have a car left it would tear itself apart.

I think I am right in what I said about the yellow being the corrected flywheel figure.

IIRC dynapack uses roughly an 19% transmission loss "fudge factor" and dyno dynamics uses roughly 21% transmission loss "fudge factor" as they drive the wheel and tyres too.

So based on that, loosely 236.6bhp @ hubs divied by 0.79 would give 299.5 at wheels and on dyno dynamics it would calculate as 263.6 divided by 0.78 and give a flywheel figure of 292bhp.

So it's safe to say it is roughly around 300bhp (which if it was running 1.7bar is shocking).

HEHEHE!!!

Yet more evidence that proves Paul does not even know how to use his DynaPack!!!

My apologies on having a laugh at your expense buddy!!!

I have to agree with Russ here and from what you have in the way of mods, 299 is a rough guestimate.

I am sure you will see around another 30 at least, when Russ is done with it! ;)

i have no idear what you just said, but my bc iwas set at 1.35 at 50% not 1.7.. i was told that if i was 2 change it to 1.7 it would be produceing close to 400bhp

Well at 1.35bar it should be producing circa 330 - 340bhp @ flywheel and if it's a VERY strong engine that responds really well maybe even 350bhp (but very few make that much power with such low boost).

Either way that dyno graph doesn't even get close to representing any of those figures.

its had an new e9 turbo and uprated actuator fitted (got the bills ) and it pulls great, on par with a 340bhp scooby i just got rid off idles fine and boosts well thru the gears

The car is fine buddy and it has no issues, it is just that you need a pro to give it a tweak really so don't beat yourself up over it.

I wonder if Paul and cronies had a go at the map???

Ok that ft/lb figure on the graph is ridiculas it could never produce 1/3 of that torque with that turbo fitted.

BUT.....

I think it's the way that dyno interperates boost pressure as the curve does look a lot like a boost plot.

Therefore 1400 could be 1.4bar

1200 1.2bar and 1100 1.1bar etc.

That would make alot more sense, but even so, 300bhp at 1.4bar is crap and 400bhp (there written on estimate) isn't possible at 1.4bar with an Evo 9 turbo.

It also appears to be a little bit laggy.

Whats the full spec of the car ???
