so they've pitted the entry level EVO X with the SSVT and 290bhp against a Mustang with a 5.0L V8, 60bhp more, manual box and adjustable dampers.

The 340 Evo X would have beaten it and a fairer comparision.

Which would I own - Evo of course but probably not that model and if I did have that model would be in the shop in seconds for a few tweaks!

I can't get excited about the mustang - not my cup of tea

What would you say is faster down a 1/4 mile drag strip.
A 600bhp mustang on drag slicks or a 370bhp evo 9 on road tyres.

Will be interesting to see your views on this.
