which face should i be looking at before fitment...please

well after 3 weeks and £130 ive got my propshaft replacement parts...do i attach the circlip on the ringed side or the other flat faced one:hm:..all help will be great as iam gonna fit my centre section tomorrow...rain..hail or snow..i want my beastie back on the road:razz:

How did it come off the original?

it was a single ring..but mines got 3...i can only check one side because the original has been undersealed and will not come out of the cup part....
