I have a vipec, also known as link.
Works very well and factory like cold start unlike some. :)

That is what my friend told me to get...

I was thinking about syvec but not sure???

Vi-pec is cheaper isnt it?? It also features switchable maps, launch control and anti lag...am I right?

Thanks

That's not an ecu I've heard of.
Mine was fitted by MA Developments and you must know he has a good rep.
Also indigo-gt can now supply and fit :)

Both highly recommended tuners

Not sure about switchable maps but yes proper anti lag and launch :)

^^this^^ the std ecu has been mapped to well over 550hp (with loads of mods) if your not aiming for silly power keep the std one and spend the cash elsewhere. The vipic mustn't be cheap?

Stock ecu has all the features your asking for plus others...

We're talking computing power here, not like it's going to blow up because of to much boost is it ... Lmao

Why do people continually think the ecu needs upgrading for big hp cars... Std ecu has been used on cars running 800+ bhp

Sorry mate ive never worked with these cars and im by no means an expert:

No need for comments like ''not like its going to blow up because of too much boost is it lmao'' thianks this is very constructive

But thanks for your other comments I didnt realise it could have such features.

What exactly do you suggest then? With the standard ECU?

The car has a ecutek map but its awful....I think it is suffering DET as the power sometimes drastically drops off at 5500rpm????

I will be aiming for around 600bhp but will not run this all of the time.

Any help is, as always, appreciated

Using the car for track days, 1/4 mile runs and road use.

So basically just have it re-mapped by someone who knows what they are doing?

I dont mind travelling if you could suggest anyone.

Thanks, appreciate the help
