hi all im new here, im buying my dads evo 8 off him later in the year and i just want to get an idea of how much im going to spend on mods and what not and where to get them from.

its a 2004 evo 8 260 in light silver but it has had a full decat and cat back exhaust and a remap to 320BHP im just wondering in future what do i do next performance wise? is it worth upgrading intake system and pipework, walbro 255 fuel pump and then get a retune? and where is the best place to go for these parts? im also looking at MR spoiler and the carbon front lip and having the wheels done black.

any help or reccomendations would be much appreciated, im in the process of saving up for everything now so it wud be nice to know how much extra monies i shud save on top.

Hi and welcome. You'll defo need th fuel pump if you want more power. I'm surprised your dadhasnt already upgraded the fuel pump. I'm sure someone will be alone shortly to guide. Your location would help

Speak to antony@indigo-gt I know he just mapped a 260 and the owner took it to a rolling road after and it was 360 odd brake but I'm unsure with what mods but you could try fitting some cams and a Evo IX 80 series turbo and that should see you up to 400 bhp :)

Try eBay for a spoiler but make sure it's a proper one not a fiberglass copy failing that try john@evobreakers

The front lights you will have to take apart with a heat gun to soften the adhesive then spray the shiny bits black then re-heat the adhesive to seal it back together :)

Masking off around the base of the side and indicator bulb is also a good idea cos it helps to give off enough light

like b6lee said i took mine apart and sprayed them, i thought id go a different route with the anthracite and red too many black and red combo's, im just finishing off a few engine bits and will have the car back on the road soon.
