Wheels spacers

Just notest i have spacers on the front of my car but not the rear. Is this ok? look like 6-8 mm spacer.

Should be ok the callipers on the front are thicker , they probably had to be spaced to stop them hitting The calliper.

Yes i was guessing that is why there are spacers there. My worry is will it affect the handling?

I read somewhere that you should be able to tighten the nuts at least 8 turns anything less could be dodgy.

Well I put 5mm spacers on the front of my old 5 to clear caliper with some Rota Gtrs that came of an altezza

I found it never handled great after I always found it pulling to the left and once in the wet I dropped the boot and the arse of the car stepped out nearly lost it .

I put my wrc tarmacs back on and it felt much better

But this probably depends on the type of wheel

This is what i am finding, the car's not handling like it should, checked every thing else and found this yesterday so it got me thinking

Can you borrow some standard rims off anyone for an hour just to check?

Here's my old 5 with the Rita's look how far into the arch the rears are
The car never felt right anyway

Yeah they weren't suited to the Evo I took them off not long after

So you think it could be the spacers making it handle bad then.

Hard to say mate as I said see if you can borrow some standard wheels and see if you can notice difference

At the end of the day if they need to be spaced they obviously are not suited to the car in the first place

I had these on another 5 I had these were the lower offset version of the same wheels they felt better
