wheel offset question

Time as come to go looking for new wheels for the evo 5 as would like a change soon.
I'm sticking with 18x8 225/40/18 but looking for a better off set to fill the arches better,in other words want the wheel to be out more than standard offset.
Any suggestions for what offset i need and if you had pics be great.

this my 8x17 with a 35 offset had to roll the arch but they look good

thanks for that but i think thats near enough offset to what i have on at the monent,18x8 35 or 38 offset but must check to be 100% sure
