Wheel offset question

Hey fellas...

Ive been looking at 17" wheels to fit tyres of 255/40-17. Will a wheel dimension of 17" x 9 with offset +30 fit, without having to install fenders? I'd like to maintain oem body styling. Im driving an Evo 9.

you will have 8mm less between the wheel and the strut....

and the wheel will stick out an extra 18mm further ...

you should be fine, a 245 tyre will be fine, 255 you have to be careful with tyre choice, a R888 tyre will catch, where as a falken or pirrelli will be fine. you wont get any rubbing issues and a 9 inch rim fills the standard arches just perfect
