wheel bearing/hub question???

is it true that if a wheel bearing needs replaced on my evo 8, you need to replace the whole hub? you can't just replace a bearing?

That is a myth buddy!

Bearing Sections are available if you search hard enough, it is just that many Traders refuse to split the Bearing Section from the Hub.

I was gonna suggest that you can take it somewhere to match the bearings then get them pressed in but I couldn't find anyone when Ineeded mine doing.
Otherwise you have to buy the hub complete as all the usual parts sellers don't sell bearings seperate

no mine are fine just wondered, need to sort out my knocking noise from the suspension, might just buy bilstein shocks, new oe top mounts, poly bush the car and that should be that.
