whats this leaking?

hi all, i have noticed few oil drops on garage floor and found its coming from the unit at top of photo in attachment.
the oil is clean and is all under unit so must be leaking from in it or near it.
yes go on tell me im stupid if you want but what is it?

ayc i believe! any dash lights on? any noise`s from rear end?

AYC tank. check the 'sump plug' is done up tightly.

and check the level in the boot! Mite be very low!

or it could just be a simple mistake over over filling the tank in the boot, that case it would just overflow and leak down

That's the Ayc pump. Try and trace exactly where the fluid is coming from.

Has the Ayc system been worked on recently ?

i had new exhaust and re map 3 weeks ago but this shouldnt effect anything.
cars going back to garage in the week anyway.
they can sort it out as im lost with anything technical.
its not a specialist evo garage but i sure they will sort it.
prob just a seal or something.

Yea, although the Ayc is quite clever the pump itself is quite simple.

Top the fluid up and get them to read up on how to bleed the Ayc pump cos this will need to be done if any of the Ayc system is taken apart

Mate i would top it up mate asap, and get your car to a garage.mite be nothing but don't you great! Like lee said's have a look and try and find a source if poss.

ATF DEXTRON 111 fluid then from halfords? id take it to xtreme evo garage but its under warranty at local garage at mo.

all topped up now mate. popping it back to garage in the week. still got 10 months on warranty so all ok.

thought it was sorted but started to spot the drips again on garage floor.
looks like its gonna need new ayc pump.
not too bad as car is under warranty, just hope they know how to do it all.
