What sort of power from an e 4 tub?

good evening guy's. Right what sort of power can you get out of a e 4 tub? What can you run one to? 1.6 bar? Also am i right in thinking its got a 9.5 hot side? Will a 10.5 off say a 5 fit straight on? Is the turbo it's self any smaller? Or is just a case of the hot side? And lastly is it a tdo4 or a tdo5. Thanks Nick

Turbo itself is smaller, you want a 5/6 turbo or even better a 9 turbo cos they spool so much quicker that you get the power quicker.

Swapped my mates 5 turbo for a 9 turbo and the difference was nite and day

No no no, remap will be required as it comes on boost alot sooner than the 5 turbo.

No gain in power but makes for a much more responsive car

ok cheers. But what's a evo 4 turbo good for? Won't be upgrading that till after the build, so power will be set by the turbo for now.

The IV turbo is a TD05 and only really reliable to just over the 360 mark.

It can be, and has been pushed further but you will be asking for trouble in my opinion.

cool thanks el. I would be well happy with 360 till i can get a new tub.what would that be at? 360bhp @ 1.5 bar? Thanks Nick
