What sort of gains would I get ???

My 9 at the mo has stage 1 bits on it , ( fuel pump , 3 port , HKS filter ) with kelford 272 cams , race bearing , forged piston and rods with all the trimmings, apr head bolts and bits .. I'm looking at fitting a GTX3582R turbo with 1000 cc injectors... What sort of gains mite I see as I know the standard intercooler mite be an issue as it maxis out .. ? Any input or advice plzzz : ) many thanx

if you are happy with a 500 BHP power set up i would go for 750cc injectors and a GT30 Turbo instead. What ecu are you running? Intercooler upgrade is a must for more BHP and keep it cooler. You can get 420/450 BHP from your E9 standard turbo with a few mods to it which is worth considering. I can give you a guys number who does all the turbos for us and who we buy from. He is keenly priced.

You might find the 35 a bit to laggy, usually the sort of turbo people fit to a 2.3ltr engine.
Gt3076 would be more suited I think.

Bigger cooler is a must mate. Intake temps will soar. Get something good though yea like an AMS, APS don't go for anything off eBay neither.

The thing is , my m8 is selling me this turbo and he's doin it at a damn great price , aswell as the injectors ,and will also fit it all for nish ... Just seemed like a opportunity to good to miss .. The engine is still a 2lt .. It's a tricky 1 cos I would be so happy with a 500 bhp car , but like everything I'd always want abit more down the line , that's why this just sounds to good ... ?v what to do what to do

if you can get it all at a good price off your mate and your be going for more after anyway you may as well buy once and get the bits off your mate. But like said mite be a bit laggy will go well when boosting!:awesome:

Would fit a turbo technics unit 205b would make over 500bhp. Would leave money for a remap and injectors then

Wisco pistons and forged rods , by Autotoque , HD exedy twin plate clutch , it's the standard exhaust at the mo ( HKS super dragger) with decat .
