Always used Mobil1 in previous cars but have only used Shell Hellix in the evo... wondered what everyone else uses or recommends...

Nothing but silkolene race for me 10/50
It's now called Fuchs Titan same stuff different name

I know that's what lots of people use in the Evo world

I can get u some Awsome oil mate at near enough the sime price as opie oils do that silkolene crap I have seen them test them side by side and the difference is amazing

I used to use silkolene in everything now I won't go near it

Just after seeing this other oil they run a test where they run a bearing dry and 1 with wot ever oil u take with u for a set amount of time with diff amounts of pressure through the test and after identical tests the silkolene had warn nearly half as much as a dry bearing but the same test on the oil I now use and the wry team are using that was reduced by half again

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with silkolene I used it for years but after seeing that there is no way I would go back

Lol nah not used it in this car yet only on my old ones I used the oil they recommended so as they have no comebacks while under warranty

Personally I use millers 10w/60 ! A bit expensive but you can't beat quality also use millers one shot octane boost before every fill up,gives you an extra 3 octane numbers ,vpower is 99 octane so this boosts it up to 102 ,also improves emissions,cleans injectors and ups the bhp slightly {only about 6 quid a bottle}
