What is the point of a forum if the chat is only one way???

I have been overseas for the last few months (Japan) and was amazed at the forum chatter when it comes to the "ebolution". For a country that created the beast and others that are equal in magnitude, they still cant get enough of them!!

Did you know that it is more profitable right now to send your pride and joy back over there?????

Any way, since I got back I have been very busy working away on various evo re-builds and tricky diagnostics so had no time to check my emails until yesterday. I noticed that i had received an evoowners newsletter and decided to have a butchers.

Low and behold, I realised that my fellow members are experiencing difficulties across the board ranging from A to Z so I thought I should get my 2 pence worth in too!

HOPEFULLY IT HELPED!!!

Today I logged in and am amazed to find that there are threads/blogs that have remained unanswered going back to well over a year!!!!

Most of the problems experienced are relatively easy to rectify and we all should chip in to help another member as best we can.

When I had a Daihatsu Charade GTti back in the days I was a member of daihard.org and used to get great advice and direction from members as far as Thailand, Australia and even Russia, comrades!

The whole purpose of a forum is to air your views and get advice from others that are in the same boat so please, please, lets do just that right here.

ONCE YOUR QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED OR YOUR PROBLEM WAS RECTIFIED SOME OTHER WAY THEN AT LEAST GET BACK TO US RIGHT HERE AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU GOT ON SO THAT ANOTHER MEMBER CAN BENEFIT IN THE FUTURE.

And lets also put our hands up to not knowing the answer and refer members to those that have the knowledge to spread.

NO I am not the dalaelama (not sure if I spelled that right) nor do I claim to be. But if there is one that is a member then maybe he or she should step forward and spread those pearls!

Until then I am happy to help out. If you want to put me to the test then please throw me a bone and lets see what comes out the other end!!!!

If you have not fallen asleep already, THANK YOU FOR READING;)

I will reply to this post el as I am going for number 2 poster on the forum. My suggestion is to anyone who reads this.
In my experience since I have been on this site there is one guy who never fails to help. He gets back to you when he says and goes out of his way to contact outside people to help you out. If any new members or existing ones wanna know who then stick a new thread up and I guarantee that Eldopesta will help you or point you in the right direction. Come on people 89 views on this thread and not 1 post. Let's make our forum better and more lively than what the competitors have to offer. Cheers all

Thanks very much Stevo!!!!

Going for the number 2 poster is not a big thing buddy!!!

You should be aiming for number 1 poster!!!!

But I know what you mean about the members replying to posts or the lack of it thereof!!!

After all, that is the reason why I posted this blog in the first place. Some times your better off beating your head against your steering wheel, unless the airbag pops of course!!!

Keep those new posts coming buddy, you might just get there real soon.
The rest of you could also take something away from here today. My advice is stop being all robotronic and start being human, you might like it!!!! not a lot but at least it'll be a start!!!!
