What is a true 3 inch exhaust ?

I'm looking at getting a new exhaust for my 9 , and want it to be a true 3 inch all the way through , but every where I look some people say 1 thing and others say something differant . I looked at blitz but was tolled its not a true 3 inch , I need miltec , but I read that that's no true 3 inch aswell ???? What should I get ? ? Also I know C.TEC is a great exhaust but alittle out my price , cheers

Miltek are true 3" no reducing in the centre box or rear box like most exhausts the bore continues to be a 3"

The blitz isn t because of the reducer near the cat, some hks are a smaller bore that 3" inside the rear box

Indigo gt - apt - Ross sport had commented on various threads on the MLR about this.

I believe that apt had a problem with a blitz being smaller in the centre section

C-Tec do a true 3" exhaust including elbow and down pipe! I have their full system fitted to my VI.

Sorted , well Iv already got a 3 inch down pipe on the car , just need the decat back ... Wonder if there's any1 out there that willing to take £450 CASH for a decat back miltec , or even c.tec

Magnex is a true 3 inch exhaust. Normally cheaper than other exhausts but still able to flow well.

Aps offer a 3.5inch exhaust.
