what intercooler 400+bhp

If you intrested i am getting rid of my IX Stock Intercooler cheap as chips .......only reason is that i have had my car rebuilt for 600+ BHP hence OEM has to go. It will be removed next weekend.

People say the stock OEM 9 Cooler is good for up to 450BHP.

I use a Autobann 88 on mine and its running 470bhp
Got it off ebay for less than £200

might be interested in the ix cooler but am also gonna check out the autobann 88 item as i want to try and fit the biggest i can to make full use of the bumper cut out :O)

I have got a perrin bolton 1000HP (3.5 inch core) rated cooler as replacement because the car will be pushing in excess of 600BHP hence it has to go :twisted:

am thinking about this one on flee bay , around the same size as the autobann 88 i think but is a tad thicker 4" not 3"

gonna get the tape measure out but i have loads of room behind my bumper / no ac and no fog lights :O)

Hi lee,cars good don,t get to drive it much as always working away downin london on the olympic site.Im having it mapped again on friday as it was running lean topend,had a uprated rcm fuel pump put in so hopefully going to get 2 bar on the turbo:twisted:did see a few rolling road days about soon so have to see if i can make one

Yea know the feeling. Someone asked me today if mine is road legal. I said yea why ? He answered well i havent seen it about.
Yea I been working long days with early starts so don't really get to use it. Took me ages to get my engine ran in and now need to get it back over to ants to get the fueling checked.
Indigo are havin a rolling road day in October mate. Get your name down for that one. It's under south Wales meets, MLR

yea but indigo-gt are one off the best, mines going over there for some work at the end of year, even tho its miles away and i cant even enjoy the drive back as its trailered lol!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kipper i pulled it out on sunday and its in very good nick . Only reason i replaced it was becuase i have got a forged 2.0 Longrod with a GTX35R setup hence the stock one needed to go.
