What Filter?

Right got an evo 8, runs about 390, havent had it long but going to get it all serviced, was thinking of changing filter, currently has a hks filter on, but the one thing that annoys me is its green! i know how bad that sounds, but what other filters are out there, im not going to pick another one because of the colour, but id much prefer a blue or black one, i know there are some k&n fiilters but what else is out there?

Blitz SUS Power is what I used to have but I had a carbon airbox fitted so would no longer fit, now run a K&N.

get an apexi one. it does its job filters the air coming in! abit expensive but defonately worth it.

maybe you could learn from the two other guys who actually helped in this thread? if you had even read what i said, i asked what other filters are out there, yes i mentioned colour but i said i wouldnt chose one just because of colour. as you can tell im new to evos' so dont know massive amount about what filters, hence asking, knew there would be people out there with experience on other filters. Didnt really expect a so called senior member to be such a moaner, i bet christmas was a hoot around yours.

You can change the filter to K&n apexi or put a standard airbox in with the mod ( cut the side of the lid ) its proven that pannel filters,in the standard boxes are good for 400 as the other filter that gets fitted tends to suffer from heat soak unless it has a cold air feed or cold box around the filter avoiding hot air.

I prefer the standard box looks standard in the bay but I have had loads of bits powder coated in crackle black so it all steath
