What do you think of these two cars

Hi,

Found these two for sale which look interesting. I have read not to buy a 280 spec car as no one wants them is this true, is the lower HP that much of an issue. The 330 looks good but radio missing, drivers seat needs sorting and no mention of service history is this an issue.

No such thing as an evo VI FQ/MR they were GSR/RS and both around 280BHP, who told you this? i take it, it was pub talk?

Personally that blue one needs some work. the grey one looks spot on and has the brembo brakes fitted.Just needs a new set of 'clusters' as someone has wacked a set of gash 'clear' ones on.....and left the side repeaters amber????

I agree with Mark!

I would not go near the blue one to be honest with you as it looks tatty and has just had a valet inside and out to sell it on for more than it is worth.

I have a nice evo IV for sale, Just put it through the MOT yesterday and flew through it with no advisors So now comes with 13 months MOT (until 10/12/2011)

The Crank Walk subject has been talked to death so I will just say this for now buddy:

It is known to happen and is a design flaw.

This will not happen in the V onwards so you might want to save a little more and go for something newer

Click on the search prompt up top and type in "Crank Walk" as it has been mentioned many a time in the past.

Fantastic car, but I think I need to take notice of the majority of the advice and go for a V or VI, the possible crank creep issue with the 4 worries me.
