What Clutch and Fly Wheel

Garage say my Fly wheel is warped and needs changing as its causing juddering during 1st and 2nd gears.
What one should I go for.

Go for a standard flywheel and get an Exedy clutch but make sure that it is a complete kit by exedy and not a mix and match job selling for £180 etc. on ebay as they tend to be hap hazard kits and that is why they are so cheap.

would a skim not sort it?


if its a slight judder and you have a relatively good clutch and know how to launch a car without burning the clutch out then try a few hard launches - has been known to sometimes cure it in the past.

skimming the flywheel sorts the problem out but if your keeping the car then replace it with a new clutch kit.

you could try the few hard launches first . . . lol

the fly wheel has already been skimmed and juddering so much that the stereo fell out.

Garage have got me a new one and will charge me £775 including the clutch and fly wheel. {which is rated to 400bhp. }

Seems reasonable just a pain as not owned it 4 months yet,

I will find out as not a regular name Technica ?
The fly wheel is Billitt 1 piece and looks a real piece of art .

They have fitted a few of them now to evos and had no problems so fingers crossed.

the clutch and fly wheel came from Techni-clutch not sure of the spelling.

Get the car back tomorrow as had to weld a crack on the bell housing.
They say never known a clutch to give way so quickly the Fly Wheel is badly warped and blued.
