What' bov Ssqv dump etc are you running and why

Right just asking as my 8 still had the plastic standard one in place and I'm holding a lot of boost and I may think it could be starting to leak as the revs drop on idle sometimes

On my missis sx we are using the hks Ssqv which we have always liked and its adjustable

I would like something like the hks on my Evo as I like the high pitched sound

What would you recommend and why ,and what do you run on your Evo

I'm not into the dumpvalve sound like I used to have years ago on my rs turbos lol

dual ports are best suited to evos due to the fact they run an airflow meter. fitting and atmospheric bov can rusult in idle/stalling issues.

if you dont want the noise then simply fit an mr recirc valve. these are the metal type and are not prone to leaking like the standard plastic one

I have the Ssqv 3 on my 8 i do like it, although the car came with the aps dual port which is popular as it runs well on the car..

Only issue I have with the hks is it now and again causes the idle to dip too low as you drop the revs. It doesn't stall but gets. It don't always happen either lol.

that sounds just like mine mate revs drop and i think its going to stall but it dont lol

You running a hks as well :razz: just part of having one on an evo. Not bothered by it lol

Sorry sold the aps on..was good just too quite and didn't really like it
