What boost level?

Hey all bit of a newbie question,

Got an evo 7 with following mods

SS Manifold
Decat
Full Exhaust
Bigger FMIC including hard pipes
Greedy Profec Spec b
Air Filter

Now the car had a rr printout of 300.7bhp but when i brought the car the Profec was resetted so i wanna set up the boost and go get the fueling checked what kinda boost would ppl recomend i aim for?

You could set it to 1.8 but it will need mapping

1.5/1.7 is a safe bet mate but as said you will still need it mapped

Not long if its not been mapped to that boost, I'd be running it at stock boost which out knowing what boost it was previously mapped at

As Si says ... 1.8 if mapped to that or just std till you get it all checked

yh im going to get it mapped within the next week but i know from past experiances it cost near an extra 100quid to set up a ebc when im more then caple of doing it so was going to set up the boost to be near what i want then let them adjust it a bit higher

who charged you 100 to set up a boost controller??

That was daylight robbery, as I said before set the boost to stock until you get it mapped.

100 quid bad times I it was an avcr I would see why number 1 you would take it to someone else and number 2, why they would charge that much lol
