hi guys, got a problem with the evo IV, its the same prob thats been with the car since april this year, cut a long story short its not revving past 3k and been into 2 diff garages including mitsi garage themselves and all cant comunicate with the car to diagnose problem,

getting rather p****d of now i decided to get stuck into the car myself, came across this major problem with the AYC ECU. if you look at the pictures with the plugs removed, the smaller plug has the bottom left pin totally rusted away as you can see in the pictures,

the car has the ABS light on constant and i know the abs and ayc are linked. doesnt take a scientist to work out my ecu is nackered but out of interest, the pin that is missing wot is it conected to?

Not sure what its connected to but you have to think if that's the state of the pins what's the inside look like. I would grab a new ecu if I was you mate and go from there may even cure some of your probs

Try John@evobreakers for a 2nd hand ayc ecu and ask for the plugs and half meter of cable from the wiring harness then cut yours off and solder all connections :)
