El is going to think I'm mad, but I paid Mitsubishi 3 hours labour to fit mine and it came to around £300 just for the labour!!!! :(:(:(

I know mate - But I couldn't find anyone else that was willing to do it in time for the 4th Dec, so I had to take it to the stealers - They did change my gearbox oil in that price to and fuel filter!!

Had to be done - Once Russ has mapped it - I've achieved what I want to do to the car, but there are a few other little bits a bobs that need doing like sterring rack, rear anti roll back, etc - Which I would like you to do it time please mate.

Cheers,

the 'naughty' way of fitting it is quite easy to do yourself, although not really something I would personaly recommend due to safety issues if not done properly.

naughty way = cutting the fuel pipes, so no need to drop the fuel tank.

take the rear seat base out and have a look if the fuel pipes have been cut (you'll see rubber pipes joining them if so)
if they have then its a ten minute job for you to check the pump, and it will probably be a walbro.

if the pipes haven't been cut then it means you haven't got a uprated pump or it has and has been fitted properly.....so then the only way to check would be to drop the fuel tank to check it.....or cut the pipes:whistling:

You can lift the sender out just enough with the pipes still on to check if its a Walbro the stock pumps are a green colour a Walbro will be silver
