Does anyone know what sort of hassle it is to bring a car to england from ireland? What if any tests, registration etc? Or is it just bring it over, mot, tax and drive?

I think all you will need UK tax and UK MOT and UK plates (as no doubt will be on Eire ones so will need to re-register it in the UK - think thats £80)

I dont believe you pay any import on it as its in EU

Be nice to have some photos of the car in the daylight and I doubt its only done 170K! lol

I'd do all the HPI checks before looking at it.

For that sort of price if its a genuine model for 1500 Euro you could break it for more than that I reckon if it turns out to be a lemon!

170k is a lot for a looked after 1 mine done 120k b4 i rebuilt it and yes u car split them for a lot more than that easy

and yes its uk plates tax and mot thats it

Just contact DVLA and they will convert to uk registered with uk plates. Btw i miss read the mileage

invis is right dvla will transfur the plates just like you do with private ones
