Hello,

No doubt some of you have travelled to Vegas, I'm wanting to go in mid Feb with my wife and kid and was wanting some feedback on what hotels you have stayed and your thoughts etc as I have had an extensive look but there seem so many out there...any comments would be great guys and gals...

Hi mate, been twice, stayed just off the strip the first time in an apartment, and the second time in the luxor hotel. I went 8 years ago so things may of changed now.

I found it to be awesome and totally fantasy, as you no doubt would expect. Few of the hotels have displays which are good, im not sure how old your kid is, but lots of things in vegas are aimed towards the night life, so with a young child may not be the best. I think it was the mirage that had a zoo out the back, not sure if thats still there, but i enjoyed it so im sure a young one would! Also had a fly over the grand canyon and landed inside the canyon by helicopter, certainly worth doing.

Id just look into whats to do for kids there, as i couldnt answer that. its certainly somewhere to go and tick off for sure.

Thanks for the reply fella, much appreciated mate...I think it may be on hold for the mo as I'm after another motor...LOL!! ...But I'll keep looking, my lad is 5 so maybe a little young for Vegas?

Well i wasnt with any young kids so i dont really know what its like for them, just know it was all nightlife there, i cant imagine there is too much for a 5 year old to do compared to your usual holidays

Yeah, could be a prob compared to package beach hols etc I guess..unless I teach him cards!
