vac pipes??

does anyone know what this pipe is?? also is a vacum?? what size (ID) should it be?

think i may be getting a leak somewhere and this is really loose??

Hi Dan

It's the Secondary Air System (SAS) pipe that allows presurised air into the exhaust manifold.

Sorry dont know the diameter.

This should only "leak" if the valve is open (controlled by ECU) so if it's leaking most of the time the the valve might be shot too.

Think you've miss read the pic!!

The blue arrow pointing to the red hose from rocker cover is a breather... 8mm I think
It will not be under pressure so can't be your leak.
