Upgrading Cams & Turbo

I know it's not the choice everyone would go with but I'm upgrading to a 71 series turbo on my VI engine. It is not forged and I have no plans to do so in the near future but as I am needing a new head gasket thought of upgrading the cams while the opportunity is there.

So my question is what 'Cheap' cam upgrade can I go for that will compliment the 71 Series?

I put second hand 8 Mr cams in cheap and very mappable

Surprise Surprise I've been let down by a 'Friend' on a set of MR Cams so now I'm on the hunt for some............or these aren't bad money - Piper BP255 272 fast road cams.

Gsc stage one cams are meant to be one of the best options.. Won't be cheap like the mr cams but will get better results if mapped with supporting mods

They would require new valves and springs thought due to the duration, so would be the cams then the head rebuilt, skimmed, head gasket... Mr cams would be cheapest, still stick by gsc's.. They are an upgrade I have been thinking about but the want list is too long and can't see them being top.

these cams are quite mild, and in the link you posted it says 'for use with standard valve springs'
