Hi guys.

I don't own an Evo, but have a Fiat Coupe 2.0 20V turbo.

I need some thoughts as I know a lot of people run PTE6262's on their Evo's. In the states at least.

My setup is the following(the important bits).

PTE6262 DBB with .82AR turbine housing
PTE 46mm external wastegate
Full 3.5" exhaust from turbo
Fully forged engine

I made 502WHP when my car was mapped, running 2bar at 7850rpm. My car revs to 8250rpm, but I had maxxed the dyno out as it was limited to 145mph, and my car does 160mph in 4th gear, which is what the run was done in.

Here is my question. Does 502WHP at 2bar seem like an accurate power figure on a 6262? I see guys on here running 600WHP and over with the same sort of setup.

I've had doubts about whether the mapper extracted everything out of the setup, although it is running very safe. If I take my car up against a car with the same setup but with a GTX3071R, I am only just pulling away from him, which doesn't seem right to me!

your power seems about right as my mate has the 6266 which he is looking 650-700.a evo and fiat coupe are totally different cars and setup's so you cant compare them to each other

As above mate, sounds like you have some good power there, it's all down to tolerances and knock in the engine really one engine will handle more power than another, how does your fiat handle all that power I'm not all that hot on fiats so don't know much about them, is it fwd rwd or have you done 4wd?

Thanks for the comments.

It is a lot of power through the front wheels, but it puts it down remarkably well. I'm happy with the car but just wanted to make sure I'm making the sort of power that is expected of the turbo.

There are 3 of us in the UK with Fiat Coupes of 500whp+ or close to 600bhp at the flywheel. My 2l, a 2.4l and a 2.5l conversion. Very quick and lots of fun! :D
