well ive been driving the evo around the last day, and noticed that the ayc light comes on after a while, ive taken it to have it plugged in and it came up with code 82 or 83 cant remember for sure, anyway it says pump2 failure, does this mean that the ayc is knackered or could it need a service or a new pressure switch, is there any way of testing the pump itself ??

A Bargain mate. Looks nice :)

Where are you based? Can point you in the right direction for recon/replacement pump.

System might need bleeding, one of the valves in the pump could be seized, could be the switch.
Cheapest fix is to bleed the system :)
Not a cheap fix if it's the pump. Just had mine recon'd on a 9!!!

You can test the pump by running it with a pressure gauge on it to see if it reaches the pressure it should. It is possible it just needs a new pressure sensor or possibly even just a bleed and new fluid.

Will run as an open diff. Down the line it can cause probs.
