it has come to the point where i may have to get rid of my baby

after just moving into my first house, and finding out that im having a lil un, my car decides to pack in... its at the garage at the moment but after some diagnosis over the phone with el (thanks again for that) it could be the idle control valve, or crank shaft sensor according to another guy i know. hopefully i shall know by tomorrow!!

the problem i have is i am paying £1380 for insurance, using it as a daily runner which isnt cheap....

but now i dont know what to get instead as i dont want to go too slow!!!

any ideas???

you can get pretty quick tdi diesel golfs can be mapped up to 180bhp economical and comfortable or a nice bora

maybe diesel is not your thing but i m starting to come around to the idea as i ve seen some pretty quick diesels about lately

yeah i have been looking at a few diesels, not alot more expensive now and still fairly nippy like you say. just holding out for now.... hopefully i wont have to get rid though.

My mrs told me we were havin a baby a month after i bought mine. ive still got the car but just dont get to drive it as much as i'd hoped but its got a cool recaro baby seat fitted!!
