ok, i have a Turbo Technics S205b turbo that i sold a few months back, the turbo has been send back to turbo technics and is in the process of getting a complete new re-core, so effectively this is a brand new turbo. not forgetting its the billet type

generally folk are running around the 550bhp mark, some slightly less and some slightly more, there probably the most proven stock frame turbo on the market and with the benefit of having UK backed support and maintenance

i had one on mine early last year and in comparison to a £4k full frame kit there represent a seriously impressive kit for the money. The pull so strong and was certainly not laggy as they are made out to be. this is currently get completely new internals and will be shipped to its new owner direct from TT

Does this come with a warranty incase turbo goes again? Bit worrying it got returned in a few months and needed a rebuild. Was there a problem with the car it came off?

yes it will come with build sheet and completely new internals from the manufacturer. To be quite honest with you it was working absolutely perfect when it was sold by myself but the new owner had found a slight oil leak from the rear of the turbo, it was out of warranty with me but i advised the customer to send it back to TT for inspection, to be fair when any turbo goes back for inspection, "in my experience, which is a lot" they NEVER send back with a clean bill of health. so it was recommended a re core which me and the owner completely disagreed with, but hey ho.. so ITS NEVER suffered a failure and was mapped a fairly sensible boost prior to being taken off by ourselves

Id love to upgrade to one of these but when i do itl be fully forged, bigger cams, injectors, ic and brakes too etc so lots of money needed. Glws though. Great tubby

it aint cheap, but these turbos pull so strong its simply addictive
