I purchased an Evo 8 turbo from a member and received it today and I was pretty disappointed. It was sold with the exhaust mani still attached, today I found out it was with one stripped bolt that was a pain to get out to separate the turbo. It has a broken bolt and a stripped one where the elbow bolts in. Oil and coolant lines are slightly bent nothing major with them. The add didn't say anything about these problems and the pics he sent me didn't show them, only up side is there is almost zero shaft play. The last pic is of the waistgate which is what I have a question about.
One broken bolt

The stripped one

Here you can see the bolt I had to break to get it apart from the mani and also you can tell there was an exhaust leak from the loose v clamp

The main thing I'm concerned with is the waistgate seems very loose. Is it normal for me to be able to lift it like this? It just flaps around and I'm thinking it will be noisy like my current Evo 4 stock turbo. Can I fix this by adjusting the preload on the actuator? What should I do? Any advice is appreciated.. cheers -Pat
