Turbo elbow question (8MR)

Does anyone know what the standard MR elbow looks like internally with regard to the exhaust and wastegate ports?

I see many aftermarket units with either a single large orifice or 2 x smaller ones (divider) but what's the consensus as to which is best?

That's the puppy !!

Yea and it's the 10.5 housing or hotside as it's know with single flapper wastegate

The elbow is a different part and is the same on all models 7-9 :)

having no separation allows the air from the wastegate to interfere with that coming through the turbo disrupting the air flow, this might reduce the power slightly having them separate allows the air to flow smoothly through the elbow

I too was wondering about a turbo elbow,, I did mean to have a chat to you mr jones the other day about them,,,

I guess it must make some difference to flow and performance,, I was thinking of trying to get as many ponnies from mine as i can,, as you know its not the quickest

That was my way of thinking too but what is it standard on an MR, divider or no divider(split)?

That said mine is actually a HKS Extension unit (elbow & downpipe) but dont know what the internals of the elbow are like to be honest but reading the below leads me to believe its split and has the divider.

Cough, cough, credit where its due mate, she's a goer!!!
If your changing anything in and around the turbo exhaust side of things inc. the manifold then it will all help.

Tomei do dome nice ones but perhaps they just perform the same as Jimmy Wong specials off flea bay, who knows.
